Auburn continues to bolster its offensive line through the transfer portal, landing Michigan State offensive tackle Stanton Ramil, a veteran lineman with SEC-ready size and experience. The Thompson High School (Alabama) product returns home after three seasons in East Lansing and will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Tigers.

Ramil was a four star recruit in the 2023 recruiting class and one of the top offensive line prospects in the state of Alabama. He committed to Michigan State out of Thompson High School, where he established himself as one of the premier offensive tackles in the region, earning national recruiting attention for his combination of size, athleticism, and physicality in the trenches.

After redshirting his first season with the Spartans, Ramil quickly emerged as a key contributor along the offensive front. Over the course of two seasons, he started 14 games, gaining valuable experience against Big Ten competition. His development was evident as he handled both pass protection and run-blocking responsibilities at a high level, showcasing the traits that made him a highly regarded recruit coming out of high school.

The 2025 season, however, proved challenging. Ramil was limited to five games due to injuries, which ultimately led him to explore new opportunities in the transfer portal. Despite the shortened season, his body of work and upside kept his stock high. According to 247Sports, Ramil entered the portal as the No. 11 offensive tackle available, making him one of the more sought after linemen on the market.

Now back in Alabama, Ramil joins an Auburn program focused on rebuilding depth, competition, and consistency along the offensive line. His experience, positional versatility, and familiarity with high-level competition make him an immediate asset in the Tigers’ offensive line room.

For Auburn, the addition of Stanton Ramil represents more than just a transfer pickup, it’s a strategic move to add proven experience, reinforce the trenches, and bring home a talented lineman with unfinished business in his home state.
